The Builder tab on Radar is for traders who already know the legs they want. Compose an arbitrary options structure (up to six legs, each with its own expiration), evaluate it against live chain data, and inspect the same score-adjacent math Focus uses — without waiting for a library template that matches your idea.
What you can build
- Verticals, straddles/strangles, iron condors / butterflies
- Calendars and diagonals (different expirations per leg)
- Odd lots / ratios within the six-leg cap
Payoff charts evaluate P&L at the earliest leg expiration; longer-dated legs keep Black-Scholes time value at that date — the same approach as P/L profile.
Workflow
- 1
Open Builder
Go to Radar → Builder. Enter a ticker and wait for expirations / chains to load.
- 2
Add legs
For each leg pick call/put, buy/sell, quantity, strike, and expiration. Add up to six legs.
- 3
Evaluate
Run evaluation to see net credit/debit, max profit/loss, breakevens, POP, expected P&L, Monte Carlo percentiles, and the P&L profile chart.
- 4
Save or trade
Save the structure to Saved scans for later, paper-trade it, or route live if you have SnapTrade connected.
When to use Builder vs Library
Use Library when you want Tradient to search a universe for the best instances of a known strategy. Use Builder when you already have strikes and expirations in mind — or when you are designing something the library does not template yet.
